In the fictional Star Trek universe, the Eugenic Wars are a series of conflicts that took place between 1992 and 1996, in which the descendants of the human genetic engineering project established themselves as outstanding "superhumans" and sought world domination. The Eugenic Wars preceded and catalyzed the Third World War, which began in 2026 and ended in 2053. The Eugenic Wars were sometimes referred to as the Third World War.
