The U.S.S. Enterprise-E was a state-of-the-art Sovereign class vessel which served as flagship of the Federation from 2372 until 2408 and was commanded by Jean-Luc. Captain Picard’s second Enterprise made its first appearance in the 1996 Star Trek: First Contact film, and the John Eaves-designed starship continued its big-screen run in both 1998’s Star Trek: Insurrection and 2002’s Star Trek: Nemesis (with modifications made for each new appearance).
