Presenting the first-ever official Star Trek comic published as a manga edition - Star Trek: Shinsei Shinsei volume 83 from Star Trek Graphic Novel Collection!

To celebrate Star Trek ’s 40th anniversary, Tokypop published a quartet of manga digests presenting Japanese-styled tales featuring the crews of James T. Kirk and Jean-Luc Picard. The debut edition, featuring Kirk’s crew, was titled Shinsei Shinsei ("New Life, New Star"). This unique volume 83 offers five innovative tales written by Chris Dows, Joshua Ortega, Mike W. Barr, Jim Alexander, and Rob Tokar and presents a possible origin story for a deadly, biomechanical hive-mind menace known as the Borg.
