A planet is considered a class H if it has less than 20% surface water. Although many H-class worlds are covered with sand, they may not be considered a desert, but precipitation is very rare. Drought-resistant plants and animals are common to class H, many of which are inhabited by humanoid populations. Most Class H worlds are hot and dry, but conditions can vary greatly.
