Cardassia Prime is the sixth planet in the Cardassia system and is one of three inhabited planets. The planet has a strong and heavy atmosphere and is warmer and wetter than Earth. She's probably three months old. Cardassia Prime is the home world of the advanced humanoid species of the Cardassians and, in the 24th century, also the main planet of the Cardassian Union space state. The planet suffered great damage at the end of the war with the Federation, in which the Cardassians were allies of the Dominion.
