World War III (2026 - 2053) was the last of the three world wars on Earth. Nuclear disaster as well as genocide and eco-terrorism are involved in the conflict.
The war began in 2026 over the issue of genetic manipulation and the improvement of the human genome and lasted until about 2053. The result was the deaths of about six hundred million people. In the end, most of the big cities were destroyed and few governments remained.
