Definition

Stardate occurs regularly in Star Trek. It is a five-digit decimal numeric value rounded to one decimal place. Replaces the date format used by the Gregorian calendar. It was introduced to give an idea of ??the distant future and to roughly identify successive events without the need to state the year. For these reasons, there is no deterministic algorithm for converting to another format. Trekkies calculates the Gregorian date format according to the chronology of events that occurred before or after the episode, or are mentioned in it. In the original Star Trek series, stellar time was not used very consistently, from which the creators of the series also distanced themselves.
Newer Star Trek: The New Generation, followed by a series of approaches to creating stellar time more systematically.

The average Earth year includes 365.2422 average sunny days
