Suddenly, a door appears, along with a man named Carl who is reading about Philippa Georgiou's death in tomorrow's newspaper. Georgiou steps through the door and finds herself on the ISS Discovery, back in the 22nd century of her universe. It is the day of the christening ceremony of the imperial flagship ISS Charon, the day when Lorca betrayed her with the help of Michael Burnham. Georgiou notices that Saru is among her servants, and she spares his life so he can spy for her. As the christening ceremony ensues, Georgiou unexpectedly kills Stamets for conspiring with Lorca and Burnham. But she decides to spare Michael Burnham...
