While Enterprise is investigating a second cloaked sphere, Hoshi stays with Tarquin, who has promised to provide information about the Xindi in return. But the true intention of the long-lived Tarquin is to keep Hoshi with him, like four other companions before her. Only when Hoshi threatens to destroy his telepathic amplifier, he agrees to release her and gives her the coordinates of a Xindi colony where parts of their weapon are being built.
