18. september 2152: Keď Enterprise nie je schopná uniknúť pred neutrónovou búrkou blížiacou sa vysokým warpom, kompletná posádka sa musí skryť na dobre tienenom "móle" vo warpových gondolách spolu s tromi hosťami Takret. Po chvíli Tucker zisťuje, prečo sa hmota a injektory antihmoty dostali do stavu online, a zistí, že armáda Takret sa pokúša prevziať kontrolu nad loďou. Traja hostia sú v skutočnosti dezertéri, ale zdá sa, že o loď sa viac zaujíma armáda. Keď sa chystajú zapnúť warp pohon, čas tlačí. September 18th, 2152: When Enterprise is not able to escape a neutronic storm approaching at high warp, the complete crew has to hide in the well-shielded "catwalk" inside the warp nacelles, together with three Takret guests. After a while, Tucker investigates why the matter and antimatter injectors have come online, and he discovers that the Takret military is trying to take over the ship. The three guests are actually deserters, but the military seems to be more interested in the ship. When they are about to power up the warp drive, time is pressing. Archer, claiming that he is the only survivor, threatens to destroy the ship and has Mayweather head for an eddy inside the storm. The Takret soldiers hastily leave the ship.
