Stardate not given: When Quark learns that his most frequent guest Morn has died, he arranges a memorial party in his bar as an opportunity to make some profit. But the truly startling news is that Quark turns out to be the sole heir of Morn's property. Soon Quark has four aliens on his heels: Morn's ex-wife Larell who tells Quark about one thousand bars of latinum in the inheritance, the two brothers Krit and Nahsk who attempt to overwhelm him and Hain who claims to be a security officer and demands Larell's extradition. But actually they are all accomplices of the infamous Lissepian Mother's Day Heist, with Morn being the fifth. The bars of gold they eventually find are all empty, however. Morn has actually faked his death and stored all the precious latinum in one of his stomachs. The accomplices are arrested, whereas Morn remains unscathed.
