Nausica is the fifth planet to orbit a yellow-and-white F-class star. Although the planet has no oceans, 40% of its surface is covered by water. The mainland is mostly dry and rocky, only at the equilibrium there is a dense strip of forests. The climate is windy with frequent storms, which are dangerous and full of acid rain after a major environmental disaster. The planet is home to the violent civilization of the Nausicaans.
