The Ferenginar, also known as the Ferengal, is the fourth planet in the Idrilon Ventarus system and is the parent planet of the devious, cunning, possessed and money-possessed species of Ferengi. The Ferengi are the most well-known traders in the alpha quadrant. Ferenginar is constantly sprinkled with rain, which is protected by large domes. An economy governed by the Rules of Profit is the most important thing in Ferengi's life.
