Alpha Centauri is the seventh planet system and is home to the humanoid species Centauran. He is also one of the founding members of the federation. The planet has two moons, serving as mining colonies. The surface is covered by 70% water and there are small islands spread across the planet. In 2066, the Tellars exchanged their terraforming technology for warp technology. The planet is home to a major interplanetary trading company and the Federal Star Docks are in orbit.
